Lawyers for Nick Gordon said today that he is trying to find a way to see Bobbi Kristina Brown, who has been in a medically-induced coma for three weeks.

Gordon and Bobbi Kristina had said that they married, but never legally tied the knot. He and friend Maxwell Lomas are reportedly the ones who found the 21-year-old unresponsive in a bathtub on Jan. 31. Pat Houston, Bobbi Kristina’s aunt, has a protective order to keep Goron from seeing her.

While Gordon respects the family’s wishes, his attorneys, Randall M. Kessler and Joe S. Habachy told Entertainment Tonight that he is still doing his best to find some way to see her.

“Nick has been trying, privately, to do everything he can to see Bobbi Kristina cooperatively,” the attorneys said. “He has respected the family's wishes and for that reason alone has not returned to the hospital and risked a public confrontation. But he desperately wants to be with the one he loves and continues to hope that his request will be granted.”

This is different from what Kessler and Habachy told Us Weekly just last week. They said he would not take any legal action to try to see her, even though Bobbi Kristina’s cousin, Jerod Brown, said he would.

Bobbi Kristina is the daughter of Bobby Brown and the late Whitney Houston, who died three years ago. While there have been constant rumors that Bobby Brown might pull her off life support soon, the family has denied those reports.

In addition, it was revealed that Gordon is under a criminal investigation, suspected of foul play.
