The 40th anniversary special for Saturday Night Live is coming upon us and for fans of popular boy bands The Backstreet Boys and N'SYNC will get the chance to see them reunite on Sunday, even if they may just be enjoying the show.
E! News reports that a tweet from ‘N SYNC’s account said, “Together again…Gee, it’s good to be together again #SNL40.”
Justin Timberlake hinted at his own involvement when he posted a photo with some writers to his Instagram account, where he captioned that “@JimmyFallon is onto something…we think.”

Besides Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick also tweeted some hints that he would be in New York City, including that his earlier flight had been cancelled.
N'SYNC hasn’t gotten together since the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. While most of the group did attend Lance Bass’ wedding to husband Michael Turchin, Timberlake was unable to come because of conflict with his tour schedule.
Contact Music reported the Backstreet Boys have continued to tour together, despite personal issues and Kevin Richardson’s brief departure.
In 2013, they released their eighth album In a World Like This and they also released a documentary about their lives together for over 20 years.
The 40th anniversary special for SNL airs Sunday night at 8 pm on NBC.
