Ahmad Givens, a star on Vh1’s Real Chance of Love, died Friday at age 33. The reality star, who was also known as Real, battled colon cancer.
His brother, Chance, confirmed the news to TMZ. He said that Givens’ condition recently deteriorated following a fall in January. Since then, he has remained in bed.
TMZ reports that Givens died shortly after a family visit on Friday night. He was struggling with his vision and speech.
According to Gossip Cop, Chance also posted a message on Instagram, sharing the sad news with their fans. The two were part of The Stallionaires and appeared on Real Chance for two seasons.
“Bye to my favorite guy in this whole world be in peace we love you forever bro I’ll see you one day soon we shall dance again in God’s kindom [sic] forever and ever bro words can’t describe my pain world pray for me,” Chance wrote.
Givens was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer in 2013. He did undergo surgery, but the cancer returned early last month and he had to have chemotherapy treatments. Givens last posted on social media on Jan. 9.
