One aspect of Katy Perry’s halftime show performance is getting a lot of attention and is rumored to be the point of contention in her soured relationship with Taylor Swift.
Perry danced alongside dancers in shark costumes during “California Gurls” and “Teenage Dream,” which has been getting a lot of attention on Monday.
One of those dancers sharks is dancer, Scott Myrick, who used to dance for Swift.
Swift, without mentioning Perry’s name, told Rolling Stone she “tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me.” One of those people is reportedly Myrick.
Myrick, who is now good friends with the “Roar” singer, first danced for her. He then got a job on the Red tour but reportedly left early to go back to working for Perry, MTV News reports.
Myrick took to Twitter to thank Perry for featuring him in the most watched performance of the year.
“Thanks be to Jesus, aka @katyperry for this shark takeover. You called it gurllllll,” he wrote.
