Moments after Suge Knight entered a not guilty plea to murder and other charges, the former rap mogul was rushed to the hospital.
On Monday, Knight was formally charged for a hit-and-run incident on Thursday, which left one man dead and another injured. He also had his $2 million bail revoked.
Knight was in court today to enter a not guilty plea to murder, attempted murder, hit and run and other charges related to the incident.
After the arraignment, he was rushed to a nearby hospital, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department said, notes The Washington Post. A spokesperson would not confirm the reason, but a source told TMZ that he suffered a panic attack. He began feeling chest pains in the court room.
Back in August 2014, Knight survived being shot multiple times during a party before the MTV VMAs that Chris Brown was hosting.
Knight is accused of striking Terry Carter, 55, and Cle Sloan, 51, with his truck on Thursday, shortly after reportedly being in an argument on the set of Straight Outta Compton in Compton, California. Carter was killed and Sloan was injured.
While police believe Knight intentionally hit the two men, Knight’s attorney said that he was friends with Carter. Knight’s attorney also claims that he himself was feeling two men who assaulted him.
