Taylor Swift and her friend Karlie Kloss are on the cover of Vogue together for their March 2015 issue. In its pages, they talk about being introduced by Victoria’s Secret model Lily Aldridge and hitting it off right away.
They both took to social media to promote the cover, which hits newsstands on Friday.
“Nothing better than sharing the @VogueMagazine March #PowerIssue Cover with your best friend @TaylorSwift,” Kloss tweeted.
The girls told Vogue they met backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, where Swift performed and Kloss modeled, after being told for months that they need to meet.
“People had been telling us for years we needed to meet,” Swift said. “I remember makeup artists and hair people going, ‘Doesn’t she remind you of Karlie? God, she and Karlie would be best friends. They’re the same. Karlie’s such a good girl. She brings us cookies every time we do a shoot.’ ”
When they finally did meet through Aldridge, Swift said “and we were just like, ‘You. My friend. Now.’ ”
