Last week on The Haves and the Have Nots, Benny walks in on Hanna and Michael and loses control, Candace gets Jim to sign the papers and gets ready to let him go, Katherine and Wyatt get into a screaming match, Veronica acts as if everything is normal between her and David and Hanna goes back to work and finds Amanda's dead body.

Hanna tells Wyatt about Amanda and calls 911. At Jim's governing station, everyone is still waiting for Jim to show up. Katheryn shows up and tells everyone that Jim will show up at the last minute knowing him. Maggie and Jim leave and Katheryn and Veronica talk about Jim and his scuffle with Quincy.

Candace is still waiting for her money and will not let Jim go until she gets conformation. After talking about killing him, she checks for the confirmation and sees that it has been transferred so she lets Jim go with a bus pass.

Maggie is still waiting for Jim and Landon tells her to put David and Veronica on stage to give Jim some time. She agrees.

Jim gets on the bus, unaware of where exactly it's going.

Landon goes and tells David and Veronica to speak with the press while waiting for Jim to show up. They come up with some signals for when things get uncomfortable. Veronica is to put her hair behind her ear and David is to unbutton the top button of his suit jacket.

Benny gets back to work and talks to a co-worker about an auction. His friend asks Benny to join in with $125,000 but Benny tells him he doesn't have that kind of money and will think about it.

Candace is at a hotel and tries calling Jeffrey but he isn't answering his phone. Benny shows up and talks about Jeffrey and Quincy. He then notices all of the new stuff and asks about where she got the money.

Jeffrey and Melissa show up at the press conference and there is some tension between everyone. Landon gets everything started. So far things are going well with David answering questions. Veronica gets asked questions about gay rights and tucks her hair behind her ear but Landon does not step in. However, Veronica manages to sway things to make her the hero of the press conference.

Maggie is still trying to find Jim and is being pressured by a reporter from New York. Katheryn assures her that Jim is fine.

Veronica and David fire Landon, but before he leaves, Landon kisses Jeffrey and tells Melissa that he's gay.

Hanna calls Katheryn to tell her that Amanda is dead and the New York reporter reveals on her show that Jim did not show up because of the death of his daughter.

Next week, everything goes crazy after news of Amanda
s death shocks everyone, however, something seems a little off with the whole situation, so get ready for a twist.
