NCIS: Los Angeles opened this week with police following a truck on a chase. When the car comes to a stop, a man runs out and disappears while the cops discover a passenger in the car who looks very ill. It turns out he has been poisoned with Anthrax and the team is called in to see what kind of threat this could be.
The driver of the car, Alejandro Guzman, is eventually found and turns out to have been trying to get his son, Livio, medical help from Mexico. He has a family back home, including his grandson, who he is worried about.
Deeks and Kensi go on a mission of their own to reunite the family while Sam and Callen go to Mexico to look for the source of the poisoning, with a very interesting undercover persona.
All in all, the family dynamic of this episode was the main component of this episode and there were plenty of amazing, sad, and funny moments, as always happens in a show like this. What was your favorite moment in the episode?

4. Tunnel
Kensi and Deeks find out Alejandro used a drug tunnel to get his son to the United States. Even though Granger tells them not to “do anything stupid” while he takes a wounded Alejandro to the hospital, they figure out how they will proceed in a “smart” move and end up in Mexico half an hour or so later. They do rock-paper-scissors to find out who will go up first. Deeks makes Kensi go up first, but then changes his mind and pulls her down, saying “This is why you should never fall in love.”

1. Good guys win
After solving the case, the team finds out that the family are still being taken into custody even though they had tried to help them. Tomas is very upset, telling Deeks he thought they were one of the good guys. But after smoothing things over with other agencies, Granger tells the team the family were released and they celebrate with some tequila.
