This week on NCIS: Los Angeles, the team works together with a Gurkha named Thapa, who they have dealt with before, when Sam is shot during a mission to apprehend a woman named Ella Desai, who has knowledge of nuclear warheads in India and is considered a spy. Callen doesn’t trust her and he interviews her until her CIA handler, Doug Emmerich, comes to claim her.
As this is going on, Kensi and Deeks have an argument over spending a lot of time together and whether they are moving too fast. Deeks asks for advice from Thapa, who he finds himself close to as the case goes forward. They also share a talk about seeing people smile and recognizing where home is.
This was an amazing episode, filled with romantic moments between Kensi and Deeks, tense and sad moments as we wondered if Sam would be alright, and a heartwarming scene between two friends. Plus, there is an amazing fight sequence at the end of the episode that is extremely well done.
