The Chinese New Year varies from year to year. That’s because they base one year on the lunar months rather than the Julian calendar.
A lunar year is a little over 12 months, and therefore, New Year’s Day in China can vary from January 21 – February 22. This year it will be on February 19. In preparation, we will continue to celebrate some of the most beautiful Chinese women.
This time we will focus on models rather than actresses, although most of them cross over between the two professions. These women are the Chinese ideal of beauty, an ideal that seems to be universal: bodies that are thin despite their endowments, innocent-looking faces that embody youth, and the allure that we often refer to as sexy.
