The Real star Adrienne Bailon shocked her fellow co-hosts during an episode airing Monday by revealing she got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Lenny Santiago.
Santiago, the Senior Vice President of Artist Management at Roc Nation, proposed in front of Bailon’s family at an upstate New York restaurant.
She blindsided her co-hosts Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, Tamar Braxton and Tamera Mowry and the studio audience when she joked around about covering the latest gossip in Hollywood.
As she flipped through a magazine, she said in a clip obtained by E! News, "It's not in here, you know why? Because no one knows.”
Her co-hosts looked suspicious – and downright confused – before she revealed her shining diamond engagement ring and exclaimed "I'm engaged!”
“I am so excited to be marrying my best friend," she told Us Weekly. "There’s nothing like having someone that makes you laugh, that encourages you, and motivates you...He’s such an incredible person and they say there’s always a great man behind a great woman and I say the same for him. He’s been that great motivation behind everything I do.”
Bailon, 31, and Santiago have been dating for six years. Before starting to date Santiago in 2009, she dated Rob Kardashian for two years.
