Tonight some of the most freakish athletes in the world will treat us to Slam Dunk goodness as four NBA players will compete in the NBA Slam Dunk contest in Brooklyn, New York.

While Zach LaVine, Victor Oladipo, Mason Plumlee and Giannis Antetokounmpo will fight it out for the NBA crown, Jordan Kilganon has already taken home the sentimental favorite of top dunker in the world.

Kilganon stands only 6'1" and is from the hockey country of Canada, yet he can jump through the roof. He is a professional dunker who has honed his craft to such a high level that he's created a legend for himself in the underground basketball world.

Or how about checking out these dunks?

The kid is absolutely ridiculous.

When the NBA Slam-Dunk competition came to the NBA back in the early 1980's it featured stars like Julius Erving, Dominique Wilkins and of course, Michael Jordan, notes NBA.com. Over time the dunks have been all used up and the professionals of the NBA cannot keep up, causing it to run stale after time.

It seems it takes a "professional dunker" to make a competition like this interesting.

Thankfully for the four participants tonight, Kilganon is not in the NBA and cannot compete. If he was, there would be no competition.
