A fan of Maroon 5 had a panic attack upon meeting the band and Adam Levine and his bandmates helped him get through it in the charming way.
Christopher Werner, 10, who has Down syndrome, made a fan video for Levine, which got the attention of the radio station Hot 99.5 and the Kane Show arranged for him to meet Maroon 5 backstage at a concert.
The meeting proved to be too overwhelming for Werner, who had to lie down to soothe his panic attack. Levine, however, wanted him to feel more comfortable so he joined him on the floor, which prompted the whole band to follow suit.
The show caught the cute photo and posted it to Twitter, writing, “Christopher was so overwhelmed he had a panic attack so @adamlevine @maroon5 @internjohnradio laid down to take a pic.”
Keyboardist PJ Morton told ABC News, "He's an awesome kid. He was a little shy from all of the attention. He didn't want to stand up to take a picture so we all got on the floor with him to take it that way. I got a high five!"
