True Blood star Anna Paquin, is in talks to play Axie Muldoon in the upcoming Madame X. Madame X will be a miniseries that is an adaptation of Kate Manning's novel My Notorious Life.

The Wrap reported that the series is being developed by Paquin, Stephen Moyer, her former co-star and husband and Jack Black.
People reported that the miniseries will tell the story of Axie Muldoon. Muldoon is a very poor daughter of immigrants who becomes successful as a midwife but her success carries controversy as she also works as a abortionist in New York City.
The show is expected to be airing on HBO, which was home to True Blood, which starred both Paquin and Moyer. This would be Paquin's first role she wrapped up True Blood back in August.
Paquin and her husband will executive produce through their own Casm Films banner.
