Ariana Grande made her first appearance – talking and not just singing- on a talk show on Jimmy Fallon’s The Tonight Show and the singer did a spot-on impersonation of Celine Dion.
Grande’s voice has been compared to another singing great, Mariah Carey, in the past, so it’s not surprising she can hit the high notes like Dion.
Before pleasing the audience with her impression, she told Fallon she felt “vulnerable” speaking in front of a lot of people, Fox News reports.
“I’m so nervous. I don’t speak,” she said, adding, “This is my first time.”
She then went on to duet as Dion with Fallon as Peabo Bryson, singing a song from Beauty and the Beast.
Not only did she impress with her Dion impersonation, she also did he “Ew!” segment with Fallon as Alexa Armstrong.
