Keeping Up with the Kardashians executive producer, Jeff Jenkins, has confirmed there will be no spin-off or docu-series of Bruce Jenner documenting his transition to become a woman, and new details have surfaced as to why.
Jenkins said this week there is “no series in production” involving Jenner. The former Olympian will reportedly make the big announcement on Season 10 of KUWTK, which premieres Sunday.
Sources now tell TMZ Jenner felt too pressured by producers of the show and didn’t want to put his family, especially sons Burt, Brandon and Brody in a position they weren’t comfortable being in.
The network was shooting for a May debut, but Jenner didn’t want a time constraint. He wants his sons to be "in a good place" and on good terms with this major change. He’s also still dealing with the car crash he was involved in that killed one person.
He will reportedly still go through with the Diane Sawyer interview.
One source did say the docu-series might still happen, but definitely not by May.
