Singer Carrie Underwood and her husband, Mike Fisher, have welcomed their first child together. The baby boy was born late last month, but Underwood made the public announcement today.
The “Blown Away” singer tweeted an adorable picture of the baby’s hand. His name is Isaiah Michael Fisher, who was born on Feb. 27.
“Tiny hands and tiny feet... God has blessed us with an amazing gift!” Underwood tweeted.
Underwood’s rep has not released any further information on Isaiah.
Underwood, 31, and Fisher, 34, announced that she was expecting their first child in September.
In December, she told Jimmy Fallon that she often sang to the baby during her pregnancy. “I do feel like I have to sing good all the time,” she said at the time. “Like, if I'm just in my car driving, I feel like I have to make it good because he's listening. He's always in there."
The couple only came up with the name fairly recently, as Underwood said last month that they didn’t have a name yet.
Fisher and Underwood have been married since 2010.
