Since news broke that Chris Brown had fathered a nine-month old daughter with model Nia Guzman-Amey, the 25-year-old has reportedly been doing everything in his power to be the best father he can be.
This now includes the “Ayo” singer trying to convince 31-year-old Guzman to relocate from Houston to Los Angeles so that he can be closer to his daughter, Royalty.
Although Brown is not romantically involved with Guzman, he wants to have a meaningful relationship with Royalty.
TMZ reports that Brown, who is currently in child support negotiations with Guzman, told her that if she moves to Los Angeles he will pull the trigger on the child support court case and continue to give her the premium amount of child support.
The singer had previously decided to take Guzman to court after she broke their agreement about keeping baby Royalty a secret, TMZ notes. He is reportedly paying more than he has to in child support.
Now that Brown is officially done with probation and his Between the Sheets Tour has wrapped, he is focusing on having a near perfect relationship with Guzman for the sake of their daughter, according to Hollywood Life.
“He’s adamant that they raise Royalty together. It’s very important to him that he and her have a near perfect relationship because he wants his daughter to be raised properly — with he and Nia,” a source told Hollywood Life.
