Chris Brown’s court case from his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, has finally come to a close.

Judge James Brandlin found that Brown had officially completed his 1,000.5 hours of community service and the Probation Department came to the conclusion that Brown had not done anything to violate his probation, E! News reports.

This will be the first time since 2009 that the “Ayo” singer will not be under the supervision of court or probation officials and his attorney, Mark Geragos, couldn’t be more proud, the Huffington Post notes.

"He is in a spot right now and a place right now that I couldn't be prouder of him," Geragos said.

The 25-year-old singer is also excited to put an end to the case. "IM OFF PROBATION!!!!!!!! Thank the Lord!!!!!!" Brown tweeted after previously asking fans to pray for him as he was preparing to attend court.

Twitter seems to also be celebrating along with Brown as well. His tweet has garnered thousands of retweets and favorites and “Thank the Lord” was a trending topic on Twitter, E! News notes.
