Chris Pine is not afraid of his emotions but it seems that his emotions took over during Common and John Legend's performance of "Glory" at the Oscars this year. The camera focused on Pine as a single tear fell during the performance. The Internet went wild with that image.

Entertainment Tonight reported that Pine opened up about his emotions when he appeared on the Late Late Show with James Corden. Corden joked with his Into The Woods co-star and said he doesn't look this good on his best day and looks awful when he cries himself.

Pine explained that it was the passion behind the performance that moved him to tears. "It was a wonderful performance and it was really moving," he said, defending his reaction to the performance. "And a lot of people gave me a lot of crap for it -- a single tear," said Pine.

He went on to say that the single tear moment probably couldn't be recreated. "I would say as an actor, [that's] the only time in my life that I think I will be able to produce a single tear down my face," laughed Pine.

Pine will be seen in the upcoming Star Trek 3 and news broke yesterday that a possible villian to play opposite Pine may have been found. Idris Elba has entered into early talks to join the Trek franchise as the villain.
