Wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey re-signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday.

The deal is for one year. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. The Steelers are Heyward-Bey’s third team since being drafted in 2009. He has played for the Oakland Raiders, who drafted him, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Steelers. He signed a veteran minimum contract with the Steelers last year, according to ESPN. That contract was also for one-year.

“I wanted to come back here,” Heyward-Bey said in a statement, Pro Football Talk notes. “They have been honest with me from Day 1. In this business of the NFL, for them to be very honest with me, what they expect from me and me telling them what I expect. It’s an honest partnership.”

Heyward-Bey struggled and didn’t met expectations while with the Raiders. In four seasons with the Raiders he averaged 517.8 receiving yards. He played for the Colts for one season. Last year he had three receptions for 33 yards in his first season with the Steelers, according to NFL.com. Heyward-Bey has 172 receptions and 12 touchdowns in his six-year NFL career.

Heyward-Bey will be on special teams for the most part. He has five tackle while playing on special teams.
