Elle Macpherson and husband Jeffrey Soffer are reportedly trying to have a baby via surrogacy. After failing to get pregnant the natural way, they’re reportedly exploring new options.
Macpherson, 51, and Soffer, 45, both have children from previous relationships. Macpherson has two sons with her ex and she now has three step-children as well.
However, a source told Australia’s Woman’s Day a few months after getting married, they realized that “having a baby naturally was a lost cause and they barely discussed adoption – they agreed on surrogacy quite quickly.”
The model already has frozen eggs on hold, so they’re able to take that route. In fact, they’ve reportedly already found a surrogate who is in her 30s.
Macpherson and Soffer got together in 2009 but split briefly in 2012. They married the next year in Fiji, Daily Mail reports.
The model has sons Arpad Flynn Busson Aurelius, 17 and Cy Andrea Busson, 12, with Arpad Busson.
