Emily Ratajkowski might’ve landed a part in Ben Affleck and Rosamund Pike’s Oscar-nominated Gone Girl as Affleck’s mistress, but the actress admits she’s actually been turned down for roles for being too good looking.

The London-born model and actress, who does have a cameo in the upcoming Entourage film, called that “frustrating” in a new interview.

“I’ve gone in for roles and producers tell me I’m too pretty to play a role. That’s so crazy and frustrating,” she told USA Today.

“You can’t get a part because they’ve seen too many pictures of you being a model,” she continued. “It’s an industry and people see what they’ve seen before. It takes a lot for someone to take a risk on you.”

Ratajkowski also landed a role in We Are Your Friends opposite Zac Efron, which was produced by Catfish’s Max Joseph.

She got her start in Robin Thicke's video for "Blurred Lines."
