It seems like everyone has been taking a shot at Iggy Azalea these days and now another random shot has been fired.
For some reason, ESPN anchor Rob Flores decided to dis the rapper recently and as Bleacher Report noted, her boyfriend, Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young, is firing back.
At one point in his life, Swaggy P was apparently viciously attacked by a dolphin and during a segment on SportsCenter Flores said, “So, Nick, while dolphins are trying to kill you, your girlfriend's trying to kill hip hop."
Of course, Young didn’t take kindly to Flores’ out-of-nowhere dig at his girl and responded to the anchor in a series of tweets on Monday.
“I'm pretty sure we going to run into each other soon,” the athlete tweeted at Flores. “You [sic] job is to talk about sports not what me and my chick got going on.”
Azalea quit Twitter last week while she focuses on her new album. The 24-year-old said that Twitter made her want to punch people and Flores likely just gave her a reason to want to punch someone even while she’s off social media.
Maybe Flores will decide his remark was childish and apologize and all will be well or maybe the beef will continue and Azalea will publically call him out in her next song.
