New Girl might need a new title at this point. Fox announced that the sitcom will get a fifth season, guaranteeing that it reaches the 100 episodes milestone.

The series was created by Liz Meriwether, who also executive producers with Dave Finkel, Brett Baer, Jake Kasdan, Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope. Zooey Deschanel stars as Jessica Day, who is now a school vice principal. She lives with four male roommates, played by Max Greenfield, Lamorne Morris, Jake Johnson and Damon Wayans Jr. Hannah Simone stars as her best friend, Cece.

“Four seasons in, New Girl continues to be one of the smartest and most relatable comedies on television,” Fox Entertainment President David Madden said in a statement. “The writing is razor-sharp, the ensemble is consistently hilarious, and we couldn’t be more proud of Liz, Brett, Dave and the entire New Girl team. We absolutely love this show and we’re so excited to bring it back for Season Five.”

The news means that the show will reach 100 episodes during the 2015-2016 season. That’s an important threshold to hit for syndication.

After a couple of weeks off, New Girl finally returns tonight with a new episode. Nasim Pedrad and Nora Dunn guest star, along with NFL star J.J. Watt.

Sadly, the new season will be without Coach. Last month, Wayans said he was leaving the show again. He did star in the New Girl pilot and returned in 2013, after Happy Endings was cancelled.

Fox has also renewed Gotham, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Empire for next season as well.
