Spinelli dropped by the Quartermaine's with information on Luke's sister, Patricia. Lulu then arrived. Spinelli explained that Patricia had been staying off the grid, but he had dug up an address for her. The women were eager to check it out, but he advised them not to since it wasn’t Patricia's current address. He then added that he thought they could ask the current tenants if they knew anything about Patricia’s current whereabouts. Tracy insisted on doing that herself. Spinelli then told Lulu that Nathan wanted to punch him for kissing Maxie. Tracy encouraged him to run off and see if Maxie had dumped Nathan yet.

Nathan told Maxie that their relationship wasn’t working anymore. She insisted that she didn't even want to kiss Spinelli. He then reminded her of the Johnny incident and suggested how she could easily fall for Spinelli again. Nathan doubted that she could make up her mind between him and Spinelli easily, so he was walking away. She replied that she still cared about Spinelli, but that what they had was in the past. Nathan still thought that he should let her go. Maxie insisted that they just needed some alone time together. "I'm yours," she told Nathan, kissing him as Spinelli walked in. He was shocked to see them in a moment worthy of Gone With The Wind. They then announced that they were going home together and leave them alone. Spinelli vowed that this wasn’t the end of his fight to win Maxie back.

Franco and Nina were at Shadybrooke debating whether or not to take Luke up on his offer to escape with him. They eventually agreed to do it. She then babbled about wanting to finally have a life again. Luke replied that he had people who could help them. The three of them then argued about the escape plan. Franco then went into the hall to keep guard. Luke got flirtatious as Nina took off his restraints. A guard found Franco in the hall as Nina led Luke out. When the guard spotted them, Luke grabbed Nina and threatened to snap her neck. More guards rushed in, but Luke managed to escape.

At the hospital in New York, Silas informed Ava that she was dying of cancer and had a deadly type of advanced lymphoma. Ava guessed he had saved her from prison because of this. He then confessed that he was going to tell her earlier, but then he had to attend her memorial. Silas then said that Ava’s best option would be a bone marrow transplant, but that no one in her family was a match and mother was past the age to be a viable donor. Ava then broke in tears.

At Sonny’s house, Michael wanted the cops to arrest Sonny when Avery was nowhere to be found. Michael then pointed out that Sonny would go to prison for kidnapping. "I'd rather die in prison than give my daughter to you," Sonny fired back. Michael then showed Sonny the scar on his head and reminded him of all the deadly things that have happened to his children over the years. Carly then interjected saying that the Quartermaines make people miserable. Sonny reiterated that he would never let Michael have Avery. Michael then asked the cops to arrest Carly too, because he was sure that she knew where Avery was. Then, Morgan and Kiki walked in with Avery and explained where they were. Michael and Morgan then started to bicker. Morgan started apologizing to Sonny, who apologized for asking him to do his dirty work. Michael then ordered Kiki to hand over Avery. She then remarked about when he used to be the “good brother “and doubted that he was the best person to look the baby. Michael then promised Kiki that Avery would always remember Ava because he was dropping Corinthos from the baby’s name. "I think I'm just going to call you A.J.," Michael said to Avery.

Maxie and Nathan planned a quiet evening at Maxie’s place. To work up an appetite for dinner the two began kissing, but were interrupted by a call from Dante. Dante informed Nathan about Luke’s escape from Shadybrook, as well as Nina being implicated in it. Nathan then left and later Spinelli showed up in order to retrieve a hard drive he had left behind. He promised to be quick, but when he found out that Nathan had to leave for work, he tried to convince Maxie to let him stick around. She insisted that he leave, but then Felicia called from the ER at GH with a sick baby Georgie.

At Sonny’s house, Carly begged Michael not to take Avery, but he refused to listen and swore to protect her, which he remarked was more than Sonny ever did for his children. Sonny then told Michael that he made him so he could break him, but Michael didn’t think so. Michael then left with the baby. Kiki apologized to Sonny, but he didn’t blame her or Morgan and said he shouldn’t have put them in the situation in the first place. Morgan then decided they should have a family pizza night, because none of them should be alone. They played Monopoly while eating their pizza in order to try and take their minds off of the Michael/Avery situation. After Morgan and Kiki, Carly thanked Sonny for letting Morgan help him tonight. Sonny then asked Carly to stay the night and she replied that he didn’t have to even ask that.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Lulu and Tracy discussed Luke's escape and worried that he may try and hurt the family again. They both agreed they need to be vigil. Lulu then left and later Tracy jumped Michael with a fireplace poker thinking he was Luke as he came in with Avery. She apologized and explained that Luke had escaped from Shadybrooke. Later, Michael told her about calling the Avery by the nickname “AJ” and Tracy replied that Alan would have liked that. When Avery began to fuss, Michael and Tracy took turns trying to get her to settle down. Michael was surprised by how affectionate Tracy was with her, as he had never seen her act that way before. Tracy replied that she was full of surprises. She later left to check for news about Luke. Meanwhile, Michael introduced Avery to the photo of AJ on the mantel and promised to make sure she grew up a true Quartermaine.

At Shadybrooke, Nina and Franco were making out when Nathan and Dante showed up to question them. Dante asked Nina if she helped Luke out of his restraints. Franco covered for Nina and by saying that he did it. He then said that Harry Houdini (Luke) was caught up in the ropes, so he had to help him. He then added Nina tried to stop them and tied him back up because the magical community wouldn’t like that Harry Houdini needed help escaping. Nathan and Dante didn’t believe Franco’s crazy act, but said they needed to focus on finding Luke. They asked Nina what she knows, and she told them that she honestly didn’t know where Luke was. Dante and Nathan leave and Nina thanks Franco for taking the rap for her. Later the guards eventually break them up and escort them to their separate rooms for the night.

At GH, Brad surprised Lucas in a cubicle by pretending to be a patient. Lucas replied that he had real patients to see and work to do, but found himself tempted by Brad. The two kissed, but were interrupted by a nurse as Lucas has an actual patient to attend to. Later, Maxie and Spinelli arrived and learned from Felicia that baby Georgie was running a high fever, so she brought her in. They went in to check on their daughter and Lucas told them that she had the flu and that he wanted to keep her overnight just to be safe. He then told them that he would have a cot brought in so they could stay with her. Lucas left them and then out in the hall Brad told him that he was not only that baby’s hero, but he was his as well. The two then kissed again.

Meanwhile, Nathan arrived upon hearing about baby Georgie being brought to GH and found Maxie and Spinelli sitting in the cubicle with their baby daughter and looking very close.

Dante returned home and told Lulu that Nina and Franco said that they didn't know where Luke was. He added that he believed them and promises Lulu that they would find her father.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Sabrina arrived and congratulated Michael on winning custody of AJ. Michael then told Sabrina that the plans to build the clinic were on hold because the old Spencer house had become unusable. She let Michael know that she was going to have to look for another job since she still needed a paycheck. Michael thought he could still help her out and offered to hire her as Avery’s nanny.

At Sonny’s place, Carly and Sonny argued over her plans to visit Jake/Jason. Ric arrived as Carly headed out. Ric talked with Sonny about the problems Jake/Jason was causing for him and Elizabeth. Sonny remarked that he didn’t like Jake/Jason and that he didn’t think he was who Carly thought he was. Ric then got back to business and informed Sonny of the appeals he had filed and promise Sonny that he would get his daughter back. Ric added that right now Michael was hurt and lashing out, but that he would come around in time. Sonny was worried that it may take him too long to do so.

At GH, Patrick told Jake/Jason that he would release him, but he wanted him to stay away from Sam. They then discussed the vision Jake/Jason had of himself in bed with Sam, which shocked Elizabeth. Jake/Jason wished that he could explain it, but he couldn’t and assured Patrick that Sam wasn’t his type. Then, Carly walked in and was happy to learn that Jake/Jason was being released. Patrick left to start the discharge papers and Elizabeth also left to give Jake/Jason a moment alone with Carly.

In the hall, Elizabeth talked with Patrick about Jake/Jason’s memory. Patrick wondered why she was so interested in Jake/Jason when she was with Ric. Elizabeth then explained how things had gotten complicated with Ric. He warned her to be careful regarding Jake/Jason.

Back in his room, Jake/Jason told Carly that he had agreed to Sloane’s conditions to stay out of jail. Carly offered to help Jake in any way she could, so he asked how well she knew Julian. Carly admitted that they had a checkered past, but thought that Sam owed Jake/Jason for smearing his name around town and that she was Julian’s daughter. Jake/Jason replied that Sam was right about him and then he laughed at Carly’s logic that Sam owed him anything.

Elsewhere in GH, Sam arrived and ran into Spinelli in the hall. She was ecstatic to see her old friend and they discussed the state of each other’s love lives. In a cubicle, Lulu talked with Maxie about Spinelli and Nathan. She wondered if Spinelli stood a chance with her, but Maxie didn’t get the chance to answer as Sam and Spinelli walked in on their conversation.

In the PCPD locker room, Dante and Nathan discussed the dead ends they were running into in their search for Luke. They also discussed Nathan’s relationship dilemma. Nathan said that felt he should walk away and let Maxie and Spinelli be a family with their daughter, but Dante believed that Nathan's own broken family was causing him to feel that way. Dante then added that families come in all shapes and forms and that if he loved Maxie then he shouldn’t let her get away.

Anna and Jordan met near the warehouses on the pier. Jordan warned Anna they needed to act fast to stop an all-out mob war.

Elsewhere on the pier, Julian and Carlos were caught trying to unload shipments by Duke and Shawn. Duke told Julian to take his shipments elsewhere as this was their turf. Julian refused and then both sides ended up in a shootout. Eventually, Duke and Julian ordered their men to back down. Julian ran out of ammo and Duke cornered him, only to be surprised from behind by Anna. Then, Anna questioned them, but they both claimed that this was just a civil dispute. Anna suggested that both Julian and Carlos leave. As Julian and Carlos walked off, Julian told Carlos that they needed to deal with Duke. Anna then warned Duke that she wouldn’t be able to look the other way the next time this happened. Anna then walked off and Jordan arrived. Shawn wondered to Jordan how Anna knew what was going on there.

Back at GH, Nathan arrived to see Maxie and Georgie. Nathan asked Spinelli to speak to Maxie alone, so Sam pulled him away. Once they were alone, Nathan told Maxie that he knew that her daughter was her priority and that he knew she had a connection with Spinelli, but he loved her and wasn’t giving up on her.

Out in the hall, Patrick was discharging Jake/Jason when Spinelli and Sam walked up from behind. Spinelli was in shock and said, "Stone Cold?" Spinelli then ran up and hugged Jake/Jason from behind and called him “Stone Cold.” He soon realized that he had made a mistake and apologized, but Jake/Jason asked who Spinelli thought he was. Carly told him that Spinelli thought he was Jason. Sam then suggested to Spinelli that they go to the cafeteria as it was Jell-O day, but Jake/Jason asked to speak to Sam in private first. Carly took Spinelli off to talk and give them privacy. Once they were alone, Jake/Jason told Sam that given his past and lack of identity he was fairly unemployable, so he asked her if she could put in a word for him with her father. Sam replied that she would see what she could do. Meanwhile, Elizabeth spied on them from the background and appeared jealous of their interactions.

Meanwhile, Spinelli talked with Carly about how familiar Jake/Jason seemed. Carly agreed, but said that he wasn’t Jason. Later, Sam and Spinelli headed off to get Jell-O while Jake/Jason told Carly about Sam helping him find a job. Elizabeth overheard and asked him if he really wanted to work for Julian. He replied that he hoped to work for one of Julian’s legitimate businesses and Carly pointed out that nobody would hire Jake/Jason with his background. Carly then told Elizabeth that they needed to support him in possible new job.

Shawn and Jordan bickered on the pier over whether she or not she was really a cop. She replied that she had proven herself over and over and if he checked the books then he would see that she had made the organization a lot of money. She then suggested that he take his suspicions to Duke and Sonny and see if they believed him. He replied that he just might. Shawn then left and Anna returned to meet with Jordan. Jordan told her that she may have just blown her cover. Jordan then said that she wanted out, but Anna convinced her that it was too dangerous to leave now and added that one wrong move could spark the bloodiest conflict this city had ever seen.

Julian returned home and vented to Carlos about their failed shipment heist. Carlos replied that with Sonny out of the game, Duke was their biggest problem. He then suggested they kill Duke, as this mob war wasn’t about territories anymore, but keeping Julian alive.

Duke paid Sonny a visit at his home. Sonny asked Duke to continue running the organization as he had to keep his image clean while he fought for Avery. Duke replied that he would be glad to keep running the business, but that Anna was still making it her business to end theirs. He then added that he and Shawn believed Anna was tipped off about today’s attempt to stop Julian from someone inside their organization. Then, Shawn arrived as they discussed who the traitor could be. Shawn then told them of his suspicions about Jordan and later left. Sonny and Duke then discussed whether Jordan could be the traitor who could bring them down.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Kiki walked in just as Michael offered Sabrina a job as Avery's nanny. Kiki was furious and said that Sabrina was a psycho who tried to kill her mother and Avery not too long ago. Michael then pointed out Kiki’s hypocrisy in forgiving her mother and Sonny for what they had done, but still holding that against Sabrina. Kiki replied that he was a hypocrite too as he had acted all moral and yet resorted to scheming to get custody of Avery. Kiki then stormed out and Sabrina told Michael that she didn’t think she could take the nanny job. Yet, Michael convinced her that she was a good person and together they could give Avery a better life than the people who had made her. Sabrina then accepted the job offer.

In the hospital room in New York, Silas told Ava there may be a chance for her after all as Avery could be a bone marrow match. Ava refused to test her daughter and made Silas drop the idea since she was focused on Avery’s future and wellbeing. She then asked Silas to team up with Kiki and Julian to stop Michael and Sonny’s war over Avery and that they should fight for custody of her. She then added that Avery was a Jerome and that she would spend her last breath making sure she stayed that way.

Back at Julian’s, Kiki arrived, so Carlos made himself scarce. She asked Julian to help her fight Michael for custody of Avery, explaining that he had hired Sabrina to be the baby’s nanny. Julian told her that he would consider it and see what he could do. She thanked him and left. Then, Carlos emerged and warned Julian not to get involved in Avery’s custody mess and that Sabrina would never hurt the baby. Carlos then asked him what he had decided to do about Duke. Julian replied that they would have to kill him.

Ric was surprised to run into Sam at GH. He was looking for Elizabeth, who was down the hall with Jake/Jason. Elizabeth hoped Jake/Jason knew what he was doing by going to work for Julian. Jake/Jason thanked her for all of her help and then Carly ushered him away. When Elizabeth turned around, Ric was standing there. He filled her in about the custody case and how he's going to fight it. "Just like I'm going to fight for you," he says, apologizing for what happened with Jake/Jason's case. Ric then wanted to know where they stood. She finally admitted to having feelings for Jake/Jason. He replied that he understood, but reminded her that they had history to build on. Yet, Elizabeth thought this was the end for them, saying she was exhausted and didn’t think he had changed. Ric thought she was making a big mistake. "Wouldn't be my first. Won't be my last," she replied. Ric then muttered to himself about not handing her over to Jake/Jason.

At the penthouse, Carlos liked Julian's plan to take Duke out. Yet, Julian worried about how Anna would react so they needed to set it up right. As Carlos was leaving, Sam arrived. She asked Julian to give Jake/Jason a job, which stumped Julian. Yet, Sam insisted that Jake/Jason wasn't all bad, but asked him to give him a job with one of his legitimate businesses. Julian gave in, but wondered if there was something going on between her and Jake/Jason.

At Sonny's, Duke told Sonny that they would have to take Jordan out if she was really betraying them. Sonny was surprised he would go there, but knowing that he would go to such lengths for his organization made him feel good. They then discussed how killing her would affect TJ, Shawn and Molly. Sonny decided that they needed conclusive proof that she was guilty before proceeding. They decided to give her a test. Sonny then turned the topic to Jake/Jason. He wasn’t happy that Carly was acting like his social worker and considered him a real threat.

Carly took Jake/Jason back to her place. She warned him about crossing paths with Josslyn. Carly then quizzed him about Elizabeth. He insisted there was nothing between them, but she thought he was lying. After some badgering, he claimed that he really didn’t know what was going on with Elizabeth. Carly then explained that Ric was slime and though she may not like Elizabeth, she owed her for donating her son's organs to save Josslyn. "I think she enjoys being unobtainable," she warned. He wondered if she was jealous. Then, Sam called him to say she got him a job with Julian. Carly then left, insisting that she wasn't jealous. Moments later, Sonny arrived and he and Jake/Jason came face-to-face for the first time!

Anna knocked on Sloane's door until he answered in nothing but a towel. She told him that she there to search for evidence that he tampered with the mayoral election. He got sarcastic and then suggested that she try searching his office. Then, they bickered. "Search away," he said as dropped his towel. He then put on some pants as she searched. They bickered some more and then Sloane suggested that Anna could be doing something more productive, like taking down her ex-boyfriend. He then questioned her about her secret informant, but she wouldn't answer his questions. "I have my own undercover operative," he fired back. He didn’t know why they were wasting time fighting with each other when they should be bringing the real criminals down together, but she refused to work with him. "It's not like you're busy doing much else," he pointed out. Then, she left. Jake/Jason then called Sloane to inform him that he was now employed by Julian.

Jordan arrived at Kelly's to see TJ. She told him that she was working for Duke now. Shawn then joined them. TJ was glad that they were now on the same side. When TJ stepped aside, Shawn assured Jordan that he trusted her, but that Duke might be suspicious. She guessed that he said something to Duke about her, but TJ returned before he could respond. Then, TJ and Shawn left. Then, Duke strolled in as Carlos lurked outside. Duke then asked Jordan to kill Julian.
