Actor Harrison Ford was involved in a small plane crash at a golf course in Venice, California this afternoon. He is reportedly in critical condition at a local hospital.

The Los Angeles Fire Department told KTLA that the crash was reported just before 2:30 p.m. at the Penmar Golf Course. Erik Scott of the Fire Department said that no one else was injured.

The only occupant of the plane was a man, who was rushed to the hospital. According to TMZ, Ford, 72, was the pilot.

TMZ reports that he suffered gashes to his head and that two doctors happened to be golfing. They rushed to the scene to help him.

Ford was injured while filming Star Wars: The Force Awakens last summer. He quickly recovered after breaking his leg and was able to walk the red carpet for The Expendables 3.

The Indiana Jones star is also a longtime pilot and has been involved in crashes in the past.
