HBO’s highly anticipated stand-alone streaming service finally has a name and a price tag. The premium cable network is also reportedly in talks with Apple about making it available on Apple TV at launch.

While HBO still hasn’t confirmed it, sources for the International Business Times said that the service will debut in April. It will be called “HBO Now” and is set to cost $15 a month.

That report is pretty much in line with what we have heard in the past. In December 2014, there was a report that the service would launch in April, so it would be timed with the new season of Game of Thrones. IBT also confirmed that HBO has teamed with Major League Baseball Advanced Media to develop the service.

HBO Now will essentially be like HBO Go, but subscribers will not need a subscription with Verizon, Comcast, Dish or other cable and satellite providers. It will be great for anyone hoping to completely cut the cable cord.

IBT also reported that HBO is already in talks with Apple to make sure HBO Now is available on Apple TV the moment it launches.

Game of Thrones is set to launch on April 12, so HBO has to get HBO Now ready in a matter of weeks if a launch timed with the hit series is really the plan.
