With her most recent role on TV Land’s “Younger,” Hilary can add, yet another accomplishment to her acting career, but she’s not the only one in the Duff family with new exciting things coming their way. In honor of older sister, Haylie, who’s expecting a baby girl later this year, Hilary hosted a baby shower, which she documented through Instagram.
Haylie Duff, 30, announced her pregnancy with fiancé, Matt Rosenberg last December, Daily Mail confirms. The exclusive shower event included music festival inspired attire with flower headbands worn by female guests.
Hilary posted a Flipagram revealing several guests, one of which was her two-year-old son, Luca, who wore mismatched shoes to the party. A portion of the caption reads, “Sissy @haylieduff you are the most beautiful sister/mom to be and I love you so much! Happy baby shower day!” Some of the star guests who made an appearance to show their support include Lauren Conrad, Jenna Dewan Tatum, Kaley Cuoco, according to Us Magazine.
A life-size painting of the expecting couple, with Haylie holding a headless baby girl entertained the guests, as they took turns placing their faces where the baby’s would be. The star-filled get-together looked like a blast, at least from the photos posted on social media. Both the Duff sisters have experimented with acting and singing in the past, with Hilary initially following in her sister’s footsteps. This time, the roles are switched, but regardless of who went first, both sisters will be moms together, one baby at a time.
