Iggy Azalaea has handed over her Twitter account to her management team and she’s now doing the same for Instagram.

She quit Twitter two weeks ago after returning from a vacation and seeing negative comments on paparazzi shots of herself in a bathing suit.

“I am taking some time away from social media. I need to be happy and it is too negative and draining,” she wrote at the time, but she continued to post on Instagram up until Friday.

It doesn’t come as a surprise that she would quit Instagram too, because she posted a lengthy caption along with photos of herself at her home on Thursday, which were taken by paparazzi.

“This is me standing in front of my home, which has a 6ft high blacked out fence around it,” she wrote. “No one should be made to feel like their own home is a prison because even your garden may be grounds for a photoshoot.”

Azalea continued, “I really just want to urge my fans to be aware of what you are enabling when posting these pictures. It is illegal to post images of someone in their home or property with a long range camera. I'm asking in the nicest way possible to please think twice about that. You're home is supposed to be your place of peace. I just want mine to be that too same as everyone else.”

On Friday a message was posted to her account notifying her fans, “Until further notice Iggy's Instagram will be run by management. Iggy is taking a break from social media. She loves all her Azaleans!!”
