Jason Aldean is a married man once again. The country singer married his fiancé, Brittany Kerr, in Mexico on Saturday.

Among the guests at the wedding were Aldean’s daughters from his first marriage; Kendyl, 7, and Keeley, 12.

Kerr, 27, told Us Weekly on their wedding day that it was the “best day of my life." She added, "I feel like the luckiest woman to have been able to marry my best friend."

Aldean echoed that, calling it the “best day ever.”

After getting off to a rocky start, the couple got engaged in Sept. 2014. They were photographed kissing at a bar in 2012 while Aldean was still married to his wife of 12 years, Jessica Ussery. He filed for divorce in 2013 and went public with the former American Idol contestant in 2014.

In August, Aldean defended their relationship on Instagram, writing, “So sick of people judging me and @brittanylkerr over things they know nothing about. I have made mistakes but i am a better person because of it, and wouldnt change a thing,” adding, “Im happier than i have ever been, so thank u to all the people who support us. We are happy and life goes on. Its time to move on people. #aldeanarmy #oldnews #timetomoveon.”
