Jessica Lange has revealed she’s leaving FX’s American Horror Story. She revealed the news at PaleyFest on Sunday.
Lange made the announcement ahead of the show’s fifth season; American Horror Story: Hotel, which Lady Gaga is joining along with Cheyenne Jackson and Matt Bomer.
Daily News reports Lange said of returning to AHS, which she has appeared on every season so far, "I'm done.”
"We've had a great run here. I have absolutely loved doing these four characters that I've had the opportunity to play, and in all madness, I love the writers and Ryan and the insanity of shooting it," she explained.
She went on to say she loved the four character she got to play on the show but "it's enough.”
Lange, 65, has hinted that she was done after playing four characters on the show, which are different every season. The last installment was American Horror Story: Freak Show, during which she played Elsa Mars.
