Jon Gosselin of TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 fame has failed to gain footing on a new career since leaving the show after his divorce from Kate Gosselin.
He was fired from his job waiting tables and he’s now trying out DJing for a living.
Gosselin is now telling OK! Magazine he’s considering a job in the political arena.
He said of his DJ gig, “It’s pretty much my primary job right now,” but “I’m contemplating running for office.”
The father of eight children admitted running is “intimidating,” however, “politics is kind of like entertainment, it’s just a different kind of world.”
He said he hasn’t made a formal decision just yet and he’s still weighing his options but if he did run, it would be as a “state representative.” He needs to make the decision by next January.
In other good news for Gosselin, he says he’s “in love” with an older woman.
