Judi Dench isn’t exactly embracing being 80 years old and made no secret out of longing to be young again.

The Second Best Marigold Hotel star’s career has spanned almost 60 years, including winning an Oscar in 1999. Queen Elizabeth even named her a Dame.

“There's nothing good about being my age," she told People. "Someone said to me, 'You have such a wealth of knowledge,' and I just said 'I'd rather be young and know nothing, actually.' Bugger the wealth of knowledge."

Dench’s husband, Michael Williams, passed away in 2001 and she has been dating David Mills since 2010.

Even with all of her success, Dench wouldn’t dream of retirement. "I don’t think about slowing down," she said.

"So celebrate the things that you can do and also try and do new things,” she continued. “I believe in that tremendously. But in our job, that's what we have to do all the time."

Dench turned 80 this past December.
