Despite Justin Bieber's very public pleas to Seth Rogan on Twitter, the 34-year-old The Interview actor has apparently denied the young singer, or so the official list of roasters leads us to believe, Moviefone reports.
Bieber started the hashtag #WeWantSeth” and begged Rogen to roast him in a series of tweets over the last couple days, The Celebrity Cafe reported.
Selena Gomez's famous ex Tweeted at Rogen pleading, "Come on man. Check your voicemail. I took it like a man as you blasted a nervous kid fan of yours (me). Now I'm a man. Roast me! I'm still your biggest fan. Even after The Interview. That's dedication. Roast me!"
He also wrote, “@Sethrogen all I want for my birthday is for you to roast me. I took the twitter bashing please make my bday and do it in person. Thanks.”
All to no avail it appears. This comes as no surpirse to most as Rogan once Tweeted that Bieber's a “piece of sh-t," later calling him “obnoxious, ungrateful and insincere" on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live.
However, the lineup does include Martha Stewart, Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, comedians Chris D’Elia and Hannibal Buress, staple Roasters Jeffrey Ross and Natasha Leggero, as well as former NBA star Shaquille O’Neal, JustJared reports.
The network Tweeted:
Kevin Hart is set to host as the roastmaster. He has encouraged roasters to "go hard" in their torching of Bieber.
But it seems Bieber isn't completely satisfied.
The singer, who is accustomed to getting everything he wants (remember that time Selena claimed they were "just friends" back in the day), just can't let the idea of Seth go.
"The Comedy Central Roast of Justin Bieber" will air on March 30th.
