After only 7 episodes of Fashion Police, Kathy Griffin has quit.

In a statement to US Weekly, E! said, "We can confirm that Kathy Griffin is leaving E!'s Fashion Police. We wish her all the best and are grateful for her time on the show, as well as the many laughs that she gave us all."

The two time Emmy award-winning comedian took to Twitter to explain why she left. Griffin stated, "I discovered that my style does not fit with the creative direction of the show and now it's time to move on."

Griffin, who took over after Joan Rivers' death in Sept. of 2014, said she was "thrilled" to continue on with the Fashion Police legacy, but it just ultimately was not the right fit for her. Griffin explained all of this on March 12.

Griffin's exit comes in the wake of other headlines for the popular E! show. Fellow co-host Giuliana Rancic caused an uproar, after making inappropriate comments about Shake It Up star Zendaya Coleman's dreadlocks. Just days after the racists remarks were made, co-host Kelly Osbourne quit.

Fashion Police will return on Monday, March 30 at 9 p.m. with co-hosts Rancic and Brad Goreski, as well as Executive Producer Melissa Rivers.
