During an appearance on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, Kelly Clarkson revealed she actually did date her From Justin to Kelly co-star Justin Guarini. She also denied a feud with Miley Cyrus that stemmed from a tweet she sent out during the VMAs in 2013.
During the show’s “Plead the Fifth” segment, Clarkson denied calling Cyrus a “pitchy stripper,” saying “everyone else” made that assumption.
"I am not saying who it was because if I say it's not, then you're going to guess somebody else!” she told host Andy Cohen, E! Online reports. She also said it's "not my fault" everyone associated Cyrus with the tweet.
Setting the record straight about Guarini, who alluded to the fact they dated last year during his cabaret show Lovesick, Clarkson confirmed they did date. However, it wasn’t during the time they were heavily rumored to be dating.
"We didn't date during Idol, which everybody thought we were dating,” she said.
“We did date a little bit," during the movie, she continued. "I think any two people who are thrown together that much [would eventually date]. 'Timeless,' you put that song on From Justin to Kelly—you can't fight it!"
