Now this is going to be good television.
We reported a couple of weeks ago that rumors were circulating around a spinoff show involving Real Housewives of Atlanta stars, Kim Zolciak and Nene Leakes. Today, Bravo confirmedthat the two housewives will, in fact, begin production on their new show titled, Nene and Kim: The Road to Riches.
The network’s statement detailed the series as “Atlanta's ‘most driven' housewives…drive out of their comfort zones and across the country to discover America on a one-of-a-kind adventure.”
Zolciak and Leakes have been on again/off again friends since RHOA’s premiere 7 seasons ago. Following a multitude of arguments and make ups, Zolciak unexpectedly stormed away from the show following the continuous drama. At the time, she was pregnant with one of her 6 children.
If the reports of Nene joining Fashion Police are true, she is set to be one busy housewife!
The two ladies have long been fan favorites and it’s no surprise that Bravo wants a show that focuses solely on them and their friendship. The duo will be road tripping from The Peach State all the way to sunny Los Angeles, and there’s guaranteed to be drama along the way.
“The road to LA may be paved with good intentions, but that doesn’t mean they won’t occasionally drive each other crazy.”
There hasn’t been a premiere date released yet, but the show will premiere in addition to 9 other new series on Bravo.
