Oprah Winfrey has her hands in everything, and that could include an upcoming appearance on Fox’s hit Empire, if it’s up to co-creator Lee Daniels that is.
Daniels opened up about the show, saying he has asked Winfrey to make an appearance a few times.
"I tell him: 'Lee, it's not enough that you've taken every viewer possible on Wednesday night. Now you want me to leave my own network?'" she told The Hollywood Reporter.
Daniels replied by laughing, "I'm wearing her down!"
Not only are Lee and Winfrey good friends, but he directed her in The Butler in 2013 so they’ve worked together before as well.
Variety has reported the growth of viewers tuning into Empire each week since its inception in January.
