Lily James spills the details on how she got into her Cinderella corset!

James is starring in the upcoming film Cinderella and opened up to E! News about the challenging days with filming. "When the corset was on we would be on continuous days so we wouldn't stop for lunch or a lovely tea like this, you'd be sort of eating on the move. In that case, I couldn't untie the corset.”

Even if the actress did eat, there seemed to be bad results for her and the rest of the crew on set. She admitted that the foods did not digest very well while she wore the corset and she would be “burping up all afternoon in Richard Martin’s face.”

Since most foods didn’t work out that well, she did have another option! “I'd have soup so that I could still eat but it wouldn't get stuck."

The 25-year-old actress has been receiving negative criticism regarding her very small waist in the film and audiences have been questioning whether her waistline has been digitally altered. The star responded to the comments explaining that she naturally has a small waistline but because of the corset and the very large dress skirt, her waist looked even smaller in the film.

Even with a naturally thin frame and the pressure in Hollywood to have a certain body appearance, James has one thing on her mind, which is being confident and healthy. "For girls growing up sometimes I think they get the wrong idea for what women should look like," she said.

"And I think it's so important to be healthy and confident and natural. And not put too much stress on trying to be thin. I don't get the thin, thin thing at all.”

Cinderella opens in theaters on March 13th, 2015.
