You can’t tell Mama June what to do.
The reality television Mom has been warned by TLC that she contractually cannot pitch any new shows until May of this year. However, despite their warning, she and some of her brood just touched down in Los Angeles to do just that. According to TMZ, Honey Boo Boo’s mother mocked when asked about TLC’s threats.
Even though she just finished a stint in the hospital due to pneumonia, Mama June is on her second trip to Los Angeles following Here Comes Honey Boo Boo being pulled of the air. The Georgia family doesn’t plan to let that stop them though, as they are in talks for a couple of projects.
One possible show idea would be the cameras following she and Sugar Bear’s relationship, while the other would have a Beverly Hillbillies type of feel.
If you ask us, moving the entire family to California and documenting the experience could prove to be hilarious television. Who knows what the family will end up doing? Let’s hope they can do something despite those warnings from TLC.
