MTV has come up with a unique way to grab viewers this week. The network will try to break as many Guinness World Records as possible in five days, beginning tonight with a Beyonce-thon.

The “Break The Record Week” kicks off at 11 p.m. with 24 hours straight of Queen Bey music. They will broadcast a 24-hour dance party at MTV headquarters with YouTube star Todrick Hall hosting. Nick Lachey and Big Morning Buzz Live’s Michelle Buteau will also attend.

On Wednesday, MTV has recruited stars to try to break the record for most meows in a minute. The Vampire Diaries’ Kat Graham is hosting the special with Grumpy Cat. Social media followers are asked to chime in with #MostMeowsInAMinute. The winning video will air at 11 p.m.

Thursday is #EpicWin Day, with MTV sharing viewers’ attempts to break records. A special will air at 11 p.m. with Charlamagne Tha God and Challenge’s Johnny Bananas and Jordon Wiseley hosting.

On the last day, Friday, the network will try to set the record for “Most Contributors to a Time Capsule in 25 Hours,” which proves that there really are records for everything. MTV is hoping to get social media users to tweet their hopes for humainty in 2025 with #2025TimeCapusel until 11 p.m. Zuri Hall will host a special at 11 p.m.
