Neil Patrick Harris already faced criticism over his skills in hosting the Oscars and now, he is going up against toddlers over who is more knowledgeable of Thomas the Train from Thomas and Friends.

According to Mashable, the actor teamed up with Funny or Die in an exclusive clip to pay tribute to the famous tank engine, who has been around for 70 years. In the video, Harris calls himself a “tankie” and ends up yelling at the children.

He spoke to Mashable and said, “Since I’m morally obligatd to not do that in real life, I thought it’d be potentially cathartic to shout at paid professional child actors instead. They were lovely- once they stopped crying.”

Harris, who is father to four-year-old twins Harper and Gideon with husband David Burtka, knows a thing or two about Thomas since his own children have watched the show repeatedly.

People reported that Harris plays a fan who is obsessed with Thomas and even has his own conductor’s hat. In the clip, he quizzes the kids from the color of Thomas’ train to whether he is very fast or not.
