Marvel has been saving all the dark corners of its universe for Daredevil, the new series produced for Netflix. The newest trailer only serves to emphasize that point.

Today’s two-minute trailer focuses on the conflict between blind lawyer Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), who is the masked vigilante Daredevil by night, and Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio), also known as Kingpin. While he is blind, Murdock uses his heightened other senses to fight crime outside of the courtroom.

Daredevil and Kingpin have a dangerous, violent rivalry, as Daredevil tries to prove that he’s nothing like the evil mastermind.

The new trailer comes just days after we got our first look as D’Onofrio as Kingpin. The actor gained 30 pounds for the role.

“I wanted him to have an appearance of being super-powerful so that when he throws a punch, it's a major punch...There's a lot of weight behind it,” D’Onofrio told USA Today last week.

Daredevil also stars Deborah Ann Woll and Rosario Dawson. The complete 13-episode series will be posted on April 10 and you can check out the first trailer here.
