Paula Patton opened up again about her divorce from Robin Thicke and said that she is still getting used to being single.

Patton sat down for an interview on The Meredith Vieira Show and said that she is “doing well.”

“It's been a long year and a lot of challenges but I've grown quite a bit and just getting used to change,” she told Meredith Vieira, reports E! News.

Since she had known Thicke for such a long time before they married in 2005, the actress said that the split has made it feel like she’s finally become an adult. Before, it felt like she had moved right in with Thicke after living with her parents.

“And now I'm like becoming an adult at this old age,” Patton, 39, said. “I'm really like a real woman now.”

Patton and Thicke share a 4-year-old son, Julian. The couple split in February 2014 and were granted a divorce a year later.

“The thing is you can't wallow in sadness or stay in bed when you have a child,” Patton said on Good Morning America earlier this month. “And they're so full of life and wonder. And he brings me so much joy."

Patton’s interview with Vieira airs today.
