The Philadelphia Eagles have been making the most noise this offseason with moves that no one can predict, the same is true for who the team worked out on Monday.

ESPN noted that sources have confirmed the Eagles worked out former quarterback Tim Tebow, yes, Tebow.

The Florida Gators great making a comeback is not the biggest surprise of this story. In fact, we reported a week ago that Tebow was eyeing a possible return to the NFL and working on his mechanics with Tom Brady's quarterback coach.

It’s the Birds that are surprising everyone again. We can now add this to the list of things going on in Eagles country that make no sense.

Last week, the team traded away quarterback Nick Foles for Sam Bradford, yes coming-off-a-second-ACL-surgery Bradford. Then, head coach Chip Kelly tried to sell to everyone that he was not interested in drafting his former Oregon QB Marcus Mariota. Oh and let’s not forget that team also just signed Mark Sanchez to a two-year $16 million deal. Now, the Eagles are reportedly working out Tebow, who hasn’t started a game since the 2011 season.

For Tebow, working out for another team makes sense as the 27-year-old continues to try and get back into the game he loves. Despite basically being exiled from the league, he has a winning record and was thrown into a situation where he took a team that looked dead past the first round of the playoffs. But, not too many people thought of Philly as his next potential landing spot. It's really anyone's guess what is going on in Chip Kelly’s mind.

So it may be Tebow Time in Philly next season. We can’t count anything out at this point.
