President Obama appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday night, where he participated in Jimmy Kimmel’s popular “Mean Tweets” segment and also discussed Kanye West during the interview.
President Obama read some tweets from viewers slamming his choice of jeans, and suggesting we leave him on a golf course.
“I have to say, though, those weren't that mean. You should see what the Senate says about me!" Obama laughed afterwards, Billboard reports.
He touched on the recent events in Ferguson, saying there was “no excuse for criminal acts” despite the events leading up to it being “oppressive and objectionable and worthy of protest.”
On a lighter note, Kimmel asked Obama whether or not he has West’s home phone number, as the Yeezus rapper claims, and he replied, “Look, I love his music and he's incredibly creative. I don't think I've got his home number.”
