It’s Sunday night, that means we’re off to Atlanta for some housewives drama. We kick off this week after last week’s therapy session and the announcement that the ladies are heading out on a trip to the Philippines!

The ladies are all meeting up at the Atlanta airport. Phaedra wants to sit in her car until time to check in but Porsha convinces her to get out of the car. Everyone seems excited for their trip. Phaedra is the one to bring the news that Nene can’t come on the trip due to her blood clot issues. To be honest, I think most of the ladies are happy she isn’t coming. Just last week at the therapy session, things were very hectic but the minute Nene stormed out, the ladies actually accomplished something and had a successful session.

The girls’ flight is around 18 hours long, that has to be miserable. But they make it safely to Manila.
We flash over to Nene who’s in New York for her broadway stint. She’s gearing up for rehearsals. She’s meeting with the creative director of her play, deciding if she can insert her own accents into her role. The director isn’t a huge fan of this idea.

Back to the ladies in Philippines. They stop at McDonalds before arriving at the spa they’ll be staying in for a couple nights. They’re hotel is absolutely beautiful and tranquil. But they need it after that crazy long trip.

They are referring to Nene as the “cancer” of the group and how the energy of the group is completely different when she isn’t there. Yet Nene claims that she is the victim of all these women, everyone comes for her. But the reality of the situation is that 95% of these women’s drama is because of Nene. End of story.

The next morning Phaedra walks over to Claudia’s room and they are going to have lunch. Claudia brings up that she doe relate to Phaedra’s situation because she, too, has gone through a divorce and even felt suicidal. Claudia is so real. How people don’t like her is kind of confusing, she does seem to be really genuine. Even Phaedra is appreciative of the little pep talk. Shadedra was being nice, shocker.

Claudia mentions that her ex-husbands family didn’t want her to go through with the divorce. She asks Phaedra how that part of the situation went for her, to which Phaedra responds that she “is not even going to discuss” with her. Okay, maybe we spoke too soon on Phaedra being nice.

Now Phaedra is getting massages with Kandi and Kandi brings up the situation about how everyone seems to think they have problems between each other. Kandi asks what Phaedra is saying to everyone when she isn’t around that makes everyone think they have bad blood. Phaedra of course says it gets lost in translation. Interesting.

Kandi says if Phaedra can be friends with Nene she can be friends with anyone. Truth.

Speaking of Nene, just before the break we see Gregg take her and surprise her with her name on the marquee for Cinderella.

Now back in the Philippines the ladies are doing yoga. Kandi actually falls asleep during the process. Hilarious.

Claudia is telling Cynthia and Demetria about her talk with Phaedra. They are in shock.
After the break, we’re off to dinner where Claudia assigns seats to everyone. She snuck in alcohol to the resort. Necessities. She even sat Kenya and Phaedra next to each other. Brave.

Porsha and Cynthia end up sitting next to each other and even shared a drink together. Claudia says she thinks Phaedra and Cynthia should talk. Cynthia apologizes for getting involved in Phaedra’s marriage. To be honest, Phaedra needs to get over it. Her criminal husband is the one who started these rumors. Cynthia was simply telling everyone what was told directly to her husband.
Claudia asks Phaedra to respond and she sips her soup. Rude.

Phaedra admits that even though Apollo claimed he lied about Kenya texting him, Phaedra doesn’t believe it since the things she has seen. But, for the first time ever Phaedra agrees to have a conversation with Kenya, 1-on-1, where they’ll simply hear each other’s arguments.

The episode wraps up with a sneak peek into Kenya and Phaedra’s conversation next week. Anyone who has ever watched this show is mind blownthat this talk is going to happen.

One thing stands out in this episode and in the closing of the last episode: the minute Nene isn’t around, everyone gets along. The end.
