The Daily Show exodus continues. Correspondent Samantha Bee is also leaving the Comedy Central show to join TBS, where she will host her own show.

TBS announced today that Bee will get her own satirical show to cover current events. There is no title for the series and it is in the very early stages of development. Bee will executive produce, along with her husband, Jason Jones.

"We're thrilled to have Sam join Jason at TBS and really make this a family affair. We actually have their kids coming in next week to pitch us animation,” Brett Weitz, executive vice president of original programming for TBS, said in a statement. "Like her fans around the country, we absolutely adore everything about Sam, from her straight-faced sarcasm and ruthless wit to her uncanny ability to mine comedy gold from just about any awkward situation. After watching Sam's work for years, we knew that her distinctive humor and talent belong at the front of her own show."

Just last week, Jones announced that he was leaving The Daily Show after TBS picked up his new untitled scripted comedy series for 10 episodes. Jones will remain with the show until later this year.

Bee’s departure means that The Daily Show could look very different in 2016. Not only is Jones leaving, but host Jon Stewart announced his plans to leave by the end of the year as well. Larry Wilmore, who often appeared on the show, is now hosting his own show. John Oliver has his HBO series and Michael Che rejoined Saturday Night Live after a short stint on The Daily Show.

Bee was the longest-tenured Daily Show correspondent, joining in 2003. Jones joined in 2005. The couple have been married since 2001.
