Former Bachelor Sean Lowe has made it clear he does not think it’s a good idea that ABC has chosen two Bachelorettes for the upcoming season - Kaitlyn and Britt.
Lowe took to his personal website to share that both he and his wife, Catherine Giudici, think the outcome can only bring more harm than good.
Host Chris Harrison made the announcement on the After the Final Rose special, which Lowe and Giudici now call “disgusting.”
He wrote, “The looks on the faces of the women in the audience, the uncomfortable banter between the two 'lucky ladies,' and the tweets sent to me afterward tell the story. No one likes the idea. [My wife] Catherine [Giudici] thinks it's disgusting."
Lowe went on to write the women have already suffered from “rejection” on this season of The Bachelor. It's believed on the new Bachelorette, the guys will be able to choose who they want to stay on as the star of the show on the first night, but those details aren't exactly 100 percent right now.
“The first night only allows for very brief conversations, and it's really hard to get to know anyone in that amount of time,” Lowe wrote. “Basically, the guys will be left to choose based on looks for the most part."
Lowe went as far as to call the show “awkward and degrading" if the star doesn't handle it right.
Do you agree with Lowe?
